As a rule eczema affects the skin in the areas around joints: elbows, behind the knees, the front of the ankles – these are mostly the areas, in which the skin also needs to be particularly flexible. It is also possible that excessive sweating would aggravate eczema, especially in the areas near the joints, under the breasts and in any other part of the body, where the skin gets folded on itself. In addition, such factor as obesity increases the person’s chances of being excessively sweat, and the skin fold rashes, this is why weight loss might help in the eczema symptoms becoming reduced.
